Before co-founding Uncommonly James edited Attitude in London and Out magazine in New York before becoming Editor of The Times Luxx and Style Director of The Times Magazine. He writes about luxury, style, travel and watches for The New York Times, The Telegraph and Condé Nast Traveller.

Editorial director

 

A former Assistant Editor of The Times, Gill edited The Saturday Times Magazine and launched The Times Luxx as Executive Editor. A former winner of the Editors’ Editor Award given by the British Society of Magazine Editors, Gill is a co-founder of Uncommonly.

Sara Redhead
Design Director

 

Before joining Uncommonly Sara Redhead developed Grazia UK as creative director for its launch and the consulted on the title's global expansion. She art directed Times Luxx and Harpers Bazaar Art, and was co-founder and creative director of the award-winning innovative digital platform, The Pool.

Damon has over 25 years’ experience as a feature writer and sub-editor for the UK’s most prestigious newspapers and magazines, including Observer Magazine, The Times and Wallpaper*.

Project manager

 

Sarah has extensive experience in luxury sales, marketing, branding and partnerships. She has worked at Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Christie's and Kiwi Collection, before co-founding Uncommonly.

Emma Hammar
Picture editor

 

Before joining Uncommonly, Emma worked for art-book publishers Phaidon and Taschen. At Phaidon she worked on the atlas of 20th-Century World Architecture, specializing in architects of Scandinavia, Spain, Italy, Switzerland and South Africa.

Lyndsey Price
Fashion Shoot Director

 

Prior to joining the Uncommonly team, Lyndsey was picture editor of The Times Magazine for 15 years and oversaw the picture research and commissioning of photographers ranging from David Bailey, Rankin and Lorenzo Agius to Sam Taylor-Wood, Brigitte Lacombe and Alex Majoli.
